    President of UAE receives Special Envoy of Chinese President

    The President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received Yang Jiechi, the Special Representative of President Xi Jinping. He is Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Sheikh Mohamed was greeted by Jiechi, who conveyed to him the very best wishes of the Chinese President for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people. Sheikh Mohamed conveyed his greetings to President Xi Jinping, wishing China and its friendly people continuous development and prosperity.

    President of UAE receives Special Envoy of Chinese PresidentThe Chinese official offered condolences to the UAE President following the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He also congratulated President Sheikh Mohamed on his election as president of the UAE, wishing him success in leading his country toward more progress and development. In their meeting in Al Shati Palace, Shaikh Mohamed and Jiechi discussed the distinguished relations between the two countries and the promising opportunities for expanding their cooperation, diversifying its aspects, and enhancing joint work based on a comprehensive strategic partnership, especially in investment, economy, trade, technology, healthcare, environment, and food security. They also discussed regional and international developments and several other topics of mutual interest.
